A leading real estate analyst on the Monterey Peninsula since 1989, Paul Brocchini's established real estate career transcends location and languages. A native of Oakland, California with his B.A. and M.A. degrees from University of California at Berkeley, Paul's life has spanned the globe. Fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese, Paul founded his own company in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil before expanding his business and relocating to the Monterey Peninsula in 1978 where he and his wife Nellie opened The Pewter Shop in The Barnyard in Carmel before beginning what would prove to be a successful real estate partnership.
Working together since 1994, Nellie and Paul were consistently in Coldwell Banker's regional Top 100 list. In 2007, Paul tragically lost his wife and business partner. Determined to continue their legacy, Paul established a new business partnership with Mark Ryan, where the two continued on with the successful tradition established by Paul and Nellie and have remained in Coldwell Banker's Top 100 list year over year. Mark then joined Paul in their weekly column featuring real estate analysis for The Carmel Pine Cone.
Together, Paul and Nellie created a beautiful family in Carmel Valley. All three children graduated from Carmel High School and went on to receive degrees from the University of California at Berkeley and the University of California at Santa Cruz.
Highly involved with his community, Paul is past president of the Carmel Valley Chamber of Commerce, the Cal Alumni Club of the Monterey Peninsula and the Carmel Mission Kiwanis Club. Paul has also served as a director of the Friends of Sunset Foundation, the Forest Theater Guild and the Monterey Peninsula Yacht Club. Paul is an avid sailor and owns a swift Beneteau First 36.7 which he sails in Monterey Bay and up and down the California coast.
